Founder & Owner
Yoshiro established Ikari Imports in 2024, bringing over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry to the forefront of vehicle exportation. Born in San Francisco, Yoshiro spent 35 years in California before relocating to Japan in 2013. Fluent in both English and Japanese, he seamlessly bridges cultures to provide clients with exceptional service and insight.

Logistics Manager
With a background in working with young people for the United Methodist Church and as a registered foster parent in Japan, Yoshiro brings a strong sense of responsibility and care to his role as Logistics Manager.

Accounting Manager
With no need for inter-company communication, Yoshiro personally handles every financial detail, providing you with direct, clear, and accurate billing and transactions from start to finish.

Head Mechanic
A lifelong automotive enthusiast, Yoshiro’s hands-on experience with classic cars and motorcycles makes him the perfect Head Mechanic at Ikari Imports. Having worked on a wide range of vehicles—from the iconic first-generation Z cars to vintage motorcycles like the Honda CB750—he brings deep knowledge and passion to every project. Whether it’s restoring his own 1975 Fairlady Z or assisting with your classic car purchase.

IT Manager
From managing the website to developing custom programs, IT management is the role Yoshiro finds most challenging, however his dedication to service ensures that your experience with Ikari Imports remains seamless. Yoshiro personally oversees all aspects of the digital side of the business, ensuring smooth functionality and continuous improvements.
Virtual Assistant ChatGPT
While ChatGPT doesn’t take coffee breaks it definitely attends staff meetings. It’s our trusty digital sidekick that helps with everything from answering questions, brainstorming solutions on how to improve communications and keeping costs down for you. Think of it as our “unofficial team member” who’s always ready to assist behind the scenes. It’s not quite human, but it’s definitely a big part of the team’s brainpower!
